Field Engineering Specialist - Core Lab - Nashville

Roche is a research-focused healthcare company dedicated to discovering, developing, and providing innovative diagnostics and therapeutic products. This Field Engineering Specialist will travel to provide technical repair and installation services for Roche products within an assigned territory.

• Provide routine technical support, on-site service, repair, and installation of Roche products.
• Serve as the primary customer contact for technical and service-related issues.
• Perform preventive maintenance and diagnose & resolve mechanical, hardware, software, and system failures.
• Document all activities, contribute to quality improvement, and maximize customer satisfaction.

• High school diploma and 2 years of technical school or equivalent military training or work experience.
• 5 years of progressive experience in repairing or servicing mechanical/system hardware and software, or networking/wireless networking.
• Alternatively, a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field with 1–2 years of progressive experience.
• Successful completion of RD Services Leadership training or certification as defined by policy.
• Ability to travel daily, including up to 50% overnight travel; reside in Nashville/Davidson area or surrounding counties.

• 8+ years of progressive experience, or a Bachelor's degree plus 4+ years of progressive experience.
• Advanced knowledge of electronics, electro‑mechanical systems, information technology, and basic chemistry.
• Ability to act as an internal technical resource, provide after‑hours support, maintain strong customer relationships.

Salary range: $71,100 – $132,000 (based on Tennessee location). Additional benefits include a discretionary annual bonus and access to Roche’s comprehensive benefits package. Relocation benefits are not available.
