Founded in 2014, the Keough School builds on the strengths of nine institutes and centers focused on international research, scholarship, and education at Notre Dame.

The Keough School of Global Affairs seeks a Web and Digital Content Program Manager to lead the management, performance, and governance of the School's web ecosystem. Reporting to the Director of Communications and Marketing, you will serve as the primary subject matter expert on web strategy and management. If you are passionate about user-centered design, digital accessibility, and translating strategic marketing priorities into effective digital experiences, this role offers a unique opportunity to shape the online presence of a globally-focused academic institution.

Responsibilities
  • Web Platform Management and Optimization:
    • Own and manage the performance, structure and governance of the Keough School’s web ecosystem, including keough.nd.edu and the nine institute and center sites, in close collaboration with institute and center communicators.
    • Ensure all sites meet standards for performance, accessibility (WCAG), SEO, GEO and user experience.
    • Use analytics and search data (e.g., Google Analytics, Search Console, Conductor) to continuously optimize site structure, navigation and user journeys, and translate data into actionable web improvements in partnership with the Marketing Analytics Program Manager.
    • Implement improvements based on analytics, user behavior and evolving best practices.
  • Web Design, Architecture, and Project Execution:
    • Lead the execution of website redesigns, enhancements and new feature development under the direction of the Director of Communications and Marketing.
    • Develop and refine information architecture, navigation systems and page structures to support key user goals (e.g., admissions, events, research visibility).
    • Manage day-to-day project workflows, coordinating with the University’s central web team (e.g., ND Creative, Office of Information Technology) and external vendors as needed.
    • Effectively navigate and collaborate with central University partners and decentralized institute stakeholders to advance projects, resolve constraints, and ensure alignment with institutional priorities.
  • Governance, Institute Alignment, and Technical Enablement:
    • Define, implement and maintain web standards across the school’s nine institutes and center, including templates, content structures and navigation patterns.
    • Provide training and guidance to institute communicators on CMS usage, accessibility requirements and web best practices.
    • Conduct regular reviews of institute and center sites to ensure alignment and consistency across the Keough School web ecosystem.
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for institute communicators on complex web issues, feature requests and technical troubleshooting.
    • Conduct regular audits of all sites to ensure quality, consistency and adherence to school-wide standards.
    • Drive adoption of web standards and best practices across stakeholders with varying levels of technical expertise.
    • Balance competing priorities across institutes, making clear, data-informed decisions about sequencing, feasibility, and alignment with school-wide digital priorities.
    • Ensure consistent adoption of web standards across all institutes and centers, reinforcing a unified and coherent web ecosystem.
  • Web Standards, Analytics and Continuous Improvement:
    • Stay current on industry trends, including search engine algorithm updates, CMS capabilities, and digital experience best practices, and apply them to Keough’s web strategy.
    • Advise leadership by translating technical insights into clear, actionable recommendations that improve site effectiveness.
