Must Have Technical/Functional Skill
- Storage Subject Matter Expert (SME) with strong L3 administration and engineering expertise across Dell EMC platforms (Unity, Power Scale, Power Store, vplex, metronode and brocade switches).
- Advanced knowledge of storage clustering, failover mechanisms, and disaster recovery replication topologies.
- Automation:
Hands-on experience building storage infrastructure workflows. - Cloud Integration:
Practical working knowledge of cloud fundamentals, focusing on hybrid storage and compute integration. - Proven track record of cross-functional teamwork with network, compute, and application stakeholders.
- Basic understanding on building/automation of storage infrastructure workflows.
Roles & Responsibilities
"Provide technical support for mission-critical enterprise storage environments and maintain SLAs.
"Execute continuous storage performance tuning, block/file resource allocation, and proactive capacity planning.
"Lead definitive root-cause analysis (RCA) for complex storage outages and implement permanent preventive fixes.
"Resolve multi-layered I/O bottlenecks spanning storage arrays, SAN/NAS network fabrics, and virtualization layers.
"Automate routine provisioning pipelines, configuration management, and daily operational tasks.
"Lead end-to-end hardware and software life cycles:
"executing non-disruptive tech refreshes, code upgrades, and microcode patching.
"Plan and execute complex, zero-downtime data migrations between legacy platforms, next-gen arrays, and cloud targets.
"Produce and maintain definitive technical blueprints, architecture diagrams, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
"Participate in on-call rotation and provide 24x7 production support.
