Akkodis is seeking a DLP Analyst for a Contract with a client in Indianapolis, IN (Remote). This role focuses on analyzing and mitigating data security risks while supporting vulnerability management and threat detection processes.
Rate Range: $45/hour to $49/hour;
The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
DLP Analyst Job Responsibilities include:
- Monitor and analyze data loss prevention (DLP) alerts to identify potential security risks and unauthorized data exposure.
- Assess vulnerabilities using CVEs and CVSS scoring, and support remediation of security gaps and misconfigurations.
- Perform vulnerability scans and evaluate network security posture, including firewalls, authentication, and encryption controls.
- Manage and secure Windows and Linux server environments by applying security best practices and updates.
- Investigate and respond to security incidents, ensuring timely resolution and proper documentation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to strengthen security controls, enforce policies, and improve overall cybersecurity posture.
- Bachelor's degree in a STEM field (Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or related discipline) preferred.
- 6-8+ years of experience in cybersecurity, DLP, or vulnerability management.
- Strong understanding of CVEs, CVSS scoring, vulnerability scanning tools, and network security concepts (firewalls, authentication, encryption).
- Hands-on experience with Windows and Linux server administration, along with expertise in identifying and remediating security vulnerabilities and misconfigurations.

Pay Details: $45.00 to $49.00 per hour
