Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site System Support Specialist role based in Indianapolis, IN. The System Support Specialist will provide hands-on technical support for cloud-based data protection, including installation, configuration, and maintenance of customer environments. Responsibilities include monitoring systems and alerts, diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and network issues, and escalating complex incidents as needed. The role will support backup, recovery, and security services such as Secure Cloud, Recover Cloud, and Private Cloud, ensuring uptime and data integrity.

The specialist will document procedures, maintain accurate tickets, collaborate with internal teams, and communicate clearly with customers regarding incidents, updates, and resolutions.

Qualifications
  • Strong Technical Support experience, including handling user requests, incident management, and ticketing systems.
  • Proficient Troubleshooting and Analytical Skills to diagnose and resolve complex system, network, and application issues.
  • Hands-on System Administration skills with operating systems, virtual machines, and basic networking concepts.
  • Effective Communication skills, with the ability to explain technical issues clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms, backup and recovery solutions, cybersecurity fundamentals, and data center environments.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, Microsoft, or similar) are preferred.
  • Ability to work on-site in Indianapolis, IN, manage priorities in a fast-paced environment, and participate in an on-call rotation when required.
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
