Location: Indianapolis

Schedule: Monday – Friday, onsite (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM)

Compensation: $18-23/hr

Location: Indianapolis, IN - TRAVEL TECHNICIAN - Regions listed below - only required to travel within ONE region for duration of contract

  • Metro: Avon, I-465+, Greater Indianapolis Area, Downtown Indy

Required Compliance / Onboarding to work in Hospital Setting:

  • Flu shot required
  • MMR
  • TDAP
  • TB Test
  • Steel-toed or composite shoes required

Must-Have Qualifications

  • 1–2+ years of deployment experience (imaging, configuration, cable management)
  • Strong work ethic; dependable and punctual
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently

Preferred Qualifications (Plusses)

  • CompTIA A+ or other relevant certifications

Key Responsibilities

  • Deploy and install IT hardware, including desktops, monitors, printers, copiers, dashboards, and label printers
  • Unbox, stage, and set up all equipment for deployment
  • Troubleshoot basic technical issues during deployment
  • Ensure proper setup, connectivity, and functionality of all equipment
  • Assist with post–go-live testing and support

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

The Deployment Technician will support the setup of a new hospital in downtown Indianapolis. Day-to-day responsibilities include installing, configuring, testing, and supporting technology deployments (desktops, laptops, printers, etc.) within an active healthcare environment.

This role works closely with hospital IT teams, clinical staff, and project teams to ensure all hardware is deployed accurately, functions as intended, and aligns with clinical workflows. Responsibilities also include on-site troubleshooting, supporting go-live activities, documenting deployment work, and ensuring compliance with hospital safety, security, and privacy standards.

Success in this role requires strong technical aptitude, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced, patient-care environment.
