Overview
Description
This Desktop Support role will focus on ticket resolution and peripheral support at a distribution center. Sixty‑five percent of the time hands‑on work will be at the center, while the remaining thirty‑five percent will involve remote support for tickets and users.
- Manage Service Now tickets – all entries are made via the company website or by supervisors; no call‑in tickets.
- Handle a variety of ticket types, including:
- Zebra devices
- Mobile phones and tablets (Android, iOS)
- Standard desktop support
- Workstation, laptop, product‑fulfillment device and mobile device management
- Client deployment solutions and Microsoft Active Directory management (provisioning/de‑provisioning)
- Endpoint protection services
- VPN accounts
- Collaboration tools – Teams clients, Teams‑enabled conference rooms, email, CRM, Voice/VoIP
- Service Now and Jira Service Management ticketing systems
- Prioritize work across varying urgency levels to meet SLAs and keep customers updated on status.
- Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues in a 24×7×365 environment.
- Provision and manage accounts for employees, contractors, and partners to access corporate systems and networks.
- Onboard new employees with hardware, peripherals, and system access.
- Perform first and second‑level diagnostics and device troubleshooting.
- Contribute ideas and solutions for continuous process improvement.
- Document incidents and requests accurately and promptly.
- Maintain knowledge‑base documentation for corporate technology assets and standard operating procedures.
- Demonstrate professionalism, confidentiality, and discretion when handling sensitive issues.
- Follow Brooks and Service Desk documented processes where applicable.
Skills & Qualifications
- Distribution center or manufacturing experience.
- Strong customer service abilities.
- Experience with Zebra printers, Service Now, and Android MDM.
- Adaptability to changing priorities and projects.
- Contract position.
- Whitestown, IN (fully onsite).
- Hourly wage: $25.00 – $28.00.
