Dev Ops Engineer at Remodel Health
We are Remodel Health, a health benefits platform that provides individualized insurance experiences for employees and their families. Our platform moves organizations away from traditional, one‑size‑fits‑all health plans.
The engineering team is looking for a Dev Ops Engineer to join a tight‑knit, growth‑focused group. In this role you will own our CI/CD pipelines, manage infrastructure as code, and ensure compliance with SOC 2 Type 2 and HITRUST.
Infrastructure is hosted in Azure and we employ modern Dev Ops practices to ship reliably and securely.
Responsibilities and Duties- Own and continuously improve our CI/CD pipelines, ensuring fast, reliable, and secure software delivery.
- Write, manage, and maintain Terraform scripts to provision and manage cloud infrastructure in Azure.
- Partner with engineering and compliance teams to maintain SOC 2 Type 2 and HITRUST compliance, including documentation, evidence collection, and control implementation.
- Monitor system health, respond to incidents, and enhance platform reliability and observability.
- Establish and enforce Dev Ops best practices across the team.
- Mentor engineers on infrastructure and deployment workflows.
- 3–7 years of Dev Ops, platform engineering, or infrastructure engineering experience.
- Hands‑on experience with Azure (compute, networking, storage, IAM) and exposure to AWS.
- Proficiency building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (Azure Dev Ops, Git Hub Actions, or similar).
- Strong experience writing and managing Terraform or other infrastructure‑as‑code tooling.
- Familiarity with SOC 2 Type 2 and/or HITRUST compliance frameworks.
- Strong communication skills and a disciplined work ethic.
- Comfort working across security, engineering, and operations functions.
- Familiarity with .NET Core and React/Typescript is a plus.

This is a full‑time, permanent position based in downtown Indianapolis. The role is hybrid—four days in office and one day remote.
