Senior Project Manager

The Senior Project Manager will be responsible for relationship management, project planning, resource management, tactical execution, and the creation and/or oversight of final project deliverables. This role requires collaboration with senior leadership, stakeholders, and technical teams to meet business objectives while providing professional leadership and mentorship.

• Oversee multiple projects to ensure successful delivery.
• Manage large enterprise‑type IT projects involving multiple internal stakeholders and/or contracted resources.
• Develop, monitor, and maintain detailed project plans.
• Define project roles and responsibilities for users and team members.
• Define user requirements, deliverables, and approval processes.
• Coordinate and monitor activities of all stakeholders to ensure timelines and budgets are met.
• Communicate project status clearly to management and stakeholders.
• Mentor and guide lower‑level Project Managers, including recommending training and development.
• Foster a professional environment built on trust, respect, and excellence.

• 5+ years
  of experience in IT Project Management.
• 5+ years
  strong knowledge of the Information Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC), IT tools, and implementation approaches.
• 5+ years
  experience with multiple methodologies, including Agile and Waterfall
  .
• 5+ years
  ability to translate technical concepts and SDLC processes to non‑technical business users.
• 5+ years
  experience working with technical teams to build project plans, risk registers, and resolve obstacles.
• 5+ years
  of strong communication and presentation skills.

• Prior experience working on State of Indiana large software projects
  as a Senior IT Project Manager.
• PMP Certification
  (must upload certification at time of submission).
