NW Deployment Build Mgr II, Global Network Deployment

Overview

AWS Infrastructure Services owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. We keep the cloud running by supporting all AWS data centers and their servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling equipment.

You’ll join a diverse team of software, hardware, network engineers, supply chain specialists, security experts, and operations managers. We collaborate across AWS to deliver the highest standards for safety and security while providing unlimited capacity at the lowest cost to customers.

• Associate's degree or above.
• Bachelor's degree, or relevant experience in the field.
• 3+ years of program management experience in infrastructure builds.
• Experience in technical management and people development.
• Proven track record managing difficult, cross‑functional infrastructure builds independently.
• Experience working across multiple teams and managing programs end‑to‑end.
• Ability to manage trade‑offs: time vs. scope vs. cost.
• Experience clearing blockers, escalating appropriately, and accelerating progress.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Robust technical understanding of network infrastructure and deployment processes.

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional certifications or military experience in an IT‑related field (e.g., computer science, network engineering, PMP, CCNA, Network+, Security+).
• Functional knowledge of network design and Layer 2/3 networking concepts.
• Ability to propose regional or global projects leveraging technical and management experience.
• Experience conducting interviews and making effective hiring decisions.
