Senior Microsoft Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Functional Consultant
Salary range: $79,100.00 - $ per year.
We are seeking a Microsoft Dynamics 365 ERP Senior Functional Consultant to design, configure, and implement Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management solutions. The role involves working directly with manufacturing clients to improve supply chain visibility, efficiency, and capabilities.
Key Responsibilities- Demonstrate deep expertise in the Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management platform.
- Configure core supply chain modules:
Inventory management;
Procurement and sourcing;
Sales and marketing;
Product information management;
Warehouse management. - Configure advanced modules:
Master planning;
Asset management;
Transportation management;
Quality management. - Conduct detailed requirements analysis and translate business needs into functional and technical requirements.
- Develop functional design documents for customizations and system enhancements.
- Define business scenarios and specifications to support delivery.
- Assist with business process redesign and optimization initiatives.
- Develop and execute test plans, cases, and scripts; conduct system integration and UAT.
- Validate configured solutions meet requirements and standards.
- Collaborate with technical teams on customizations, data conversions, and integrations.
- Produce functional documentation, business process documentation, output/report specifications, test plans and scripts.
- Engage with clients to understand supply chain processes; serve as primary contact for functional matters.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships; provide post‑go‑live support.
- Mentor junior consultants and share knowledge and best practices.
- Coordinate with project leadership on timelines, scope, and objectives.
- Identify and communicate new business opportunities related to D365 implementations.
- Bachelor's degree required.
- 3+ years implementing Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management.
- Strong expertise in core modules.
- Experience with advanced modules.
- Proven experience gathering requirements and developing design documentation.
- Experience supporting data conversions, integrations, and customizations.
- Strong understanding of supply‑chain processes.
- Experience leading workshops and managing stakeholder relationships.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a consulting environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience in manufacturing, distribution, or other asset‑driven industries.
- Microsoft Certified:
Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management Functional Consultant Associate. - Experience with Power Platform (Power BI, Power Automate, Power Apps).
- Experience with system integrations, EDI, or advanced warehouse automation solutions.
Travel varies by project phase and can be up to 80%, depending on client needs.
