IT Support Specialist - CAD Systems

A well-established, growth-oriented engineering firm is seeking an IT Support Specialist (CAD Systems) to support Autodesk and Bentley platforms used on large-scale civil infrastructure projects. This is a technical IT role focused on system deployment, administration, and advanced support—
no CAD design or drafting required

You’ll work closely with engineers, IT leadership, and software vendors to ensure reliable, high-performing CAD environments across the organization.

• Deploy, configure, and support Autodesk & Bentley CAD systems (Civil 3D, AutoCAD, Revit, Micro Station, Open Roads)
• Manage updates, patches, configurations, and CAD standards
• Provide Tier 2/3 support for CAD performance, licensing, and interoperability issues
• Act as a primary technical contact for Autodesk and Bentley support
• Administer licensing and support CAD data platforms (Project Wise, Autodesk Docs, BIM 360)
• Partner with infrastructure teams to optimize workstation and virtual environments
• Identify opportunities for automation and process improvements

• 1–3 years of experience in IT support, CAD systems administration, or software deployment
• Hands‑on experience with Autodesk and Bentley platforms
• Strong Windows OS, networking, and troubleshooting skills
• Experience supporting CAD environments in virtual or hybrid infrastructures

• Experience with Project Wise, Autodesk Docs, or BIM 360
• Scripting or automation experience (Power Shell, Python, batch)
• Relevant certifications (Autodesk, Bentley, CompTIA)
