The LHH is seeking an Manufacturing Data Analyst for a Direct Hire, Permanent Placement position with a manufacturing client located in the Greater Indianapolis Area. This role offers the opportunity to support strategic business growth by developing analytics, forecasting tools, and reporting solutions that help leadership make informed operational decisions. The compensation is commensurate to experience and will range between $85K - $95K per year and includes comprehensive benefit and insurance plans, generous Paid Time Off, and a 401K plan with a company match.
- Develop dashboards and reporting tools supporting operational and business performance.
- Analyze operational, supply chain, and production data to identify trends.
- Consolidate data from multiple systems into actionable business intelligence.
- Support Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) initiatives and forecasting activities.
- Perform variance analysis to improve planning accuracy and operational performance.
- Create reporting that assists leadership with data-driven decision making.
- Develop and maintain KPI scorecards and performance measurement tools.
- Retrieve, cleanse, and analyze data from ERP and operational systems.
- Model production demand and capacity requirements across multiple facilities.
- Evaluate inventory, sourcing, and production requirements through data analysis.
- Automate recurring reports and improve reporting efficiency.
- Partner with Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, IT, and other stakeholders.
- Identify opportunities to improve reporting structures and data visibility.
- Lead analytics projects from concept through implementation and delivery.
- Present findings and recommendations to operational leadership teams.
- Bachelor Degree in Business, Data Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Supply Chain, or a related discipline is required.
- Minimum of 2+ years of operations analytics, business intelligence, or data analysis experience within the manufacturing industry is required.
- Must have experience with ERP systems and operational reporting environments.
- Must have experience creating dashboards, reports, and business intelligence tools.
- Ideal candidates will have experience supporting forecasting and S&OP processes.
- Ideal candidates will have experience using SQL for data retrieval and analysis.
- Ideal candidates will have experience integrating data from multiple systems.
- Ideal candidates will have experience with Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms.
- Ideal candidates will have experience with supply chain, inventory, or production analytics.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence business stakeholders.
- Self‑motivated with the ability to independently own projects and deliver results.
- Advanced Excel skills including pivot tables, lookups, and data analysis functions.
