Engineer Senior

Location and Work Arrangement

This role requires associates to be in-office 1-2 days per week, fostering collaboration and connectivity while providing flexibility to support productivity and work-life balance. Alternate locations may be considered if candidates reside within a commuting distance from an office. Candidates not within a reasonable commuting distance will not be considered unless an accommodation is granted as required by law.

• Maintain active relationships with customers to determine business requirements and lead requirements gathering meetings.
• Own the change request process and coordinate with other teams as necessary.
• Provide technical advice and weigh in on technical decisions that impact cross‑functional teams.
• Research and propose new technologies.
• Develop and own a list of final enhancements.
• Define application scope and objectives, and prepare technical and/or functional specifications.
• Perform technical design reviews and code reviews.
• Own technical testing to ensure unit tests are completed and meet the test plan requirements.
• Ensure system testing is completed and the system is implemented according to the plan.
• Assess current status and support data information planning.
• Coordinate on‑call support and ensure effective monitoring of the system.
• Maintain the technical development environment.
• Mentor others and may lead multiple small or medium‑sized projects.
• Set direction at the project/service level and influence decision‑making.
• Provide technical guidance and mentoring.
• Understand the trade‑offs between technical, analytical, and product needs of the technical solutions.
• Identify and propose strategies around technical problems affecting the team, communicate standards, and gain buy‑in on solutions.
• Facilitate group sessions to elicit complex information on requirements clarification, design sessions, code reviews, and troubleshooting issues.
• Support vendor evaluation.

• BA/BS degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of related experience.
• Multi dimensional platform experience.
• Expert level experience with business and technical applications, or equivalent education and experience.

• Multi‑database and/or multi‑language experience.
• Experience mentoring others, leading small projects, and providing troubleshooting support.
