The Information Technology Specialist is a part-time, on-site role based in Indianapolis, IN. This role is responsible for supporting day-to-day IT operations, including maintaining workstations and peripherals, monitoring networks, and responding to technical issues. The specialist will troubleshoot hardware, software, and connectivity problems, implement basic security measures, and assist with system updates and backups. The position also involves providing user support, documenting solutions, and coordinating with vendors or external support when needed.

The Information Technology Specialist will work closely with internal teams to ensure reliable systems and a positive end-user experience.

• Strong foundation in Information Technology and general IT support practices.
• Hands-on experience with Network Administration and Network Security in small to mid-size environments.
• Proficient Troubleshooting skills for hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
• Demonstrated Customer Service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and support users of varying technical levels.
• Familiarity with operating systems (e.g., Windows, macOS), productivity software, and basic server or cloud services.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and work independently on-site in Indianapolis, IN.
• Relevant certification (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+, or similar) or equivalent practical experience is preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; post‑secondary coursework in IT or related field is beneficial.
