Information Assurance Engineer Associate

This position is a Technical Associate role focused on supporting cyber missions and operations across the federal government, specifically for the Naval Surface Warfare Center Electronic Warfare (EW) systems. The engineer will work closely with engineering teams to ensure information security requirements are incorporated throughout the system lifecycle.

• Support engineering design, development, and testing of EW systems, ensuring information security requirements are effectively and suitably incorporated.
• Analyze user, policy, regulatory, and resource demands for information security needs.
• Support development of doctrine and policies as required.
• Lend engineering expertise to common and dedicated special‑purpose systems, such as command‑and‑control systems, requiring specialized security features and procedures.

• Education:
  
  High School diploma is required;
  Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field preferred.
• Experience:
  
  0+ years of related experience in information security.
• Technical skills:
  Knowledge of information security principles and practices.
• Security clearance:
  Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.
• US citizenship:
  Required.

Salary range: $76,500 – $103,500 (depending on experience, location, and contractual terms).
