Hardware Technician II Position PurposeProvides top level support, repair, and installation for end user environments.
Essential Functions- Repairs physically damaged devices
- Designs and implements repair procedures for interactive boards, printers, desktop computers, sound systems, etc
- Troubleshooting power and cabling related issues
- Installs fixed equipment in classrooms, including cabling needs
- Completes warranty claims
- Independently sets up and maintains equipment for District special events
- Work within the Technology Services team to ensure needs are met
- Communicate issues and needs to Assistant Technology Director
- Efficiently use work order systems and complete other Data Entry
Uses standard office equipment such as personal computer, copy machine and fax machines, and telephone.
Travel RequirementsTravel to school district buildings and professional meetings as required.
Rate of Pay$22.05 per hour
Work Schedule8 hours per day.
260 days per year.

- Minimum of Associate Degree or Equivalent Experience
- Previous experience with technology repair
