IT Support Specialist

BEST ONE TIRE&SERVICE is seeking an IT Support Specialist to provide hands-on technical support for retail, shop, and office staff. In this role, you will troubleshoot hardware, software, POS systems, printers, and mobile devices; manage user accounts; and assist with network connectivity and basic security tasks. You will document issues, escalate complex problems, and support system rollouts and upgrades. Working in a customer-focused, team-oriented environment, you'll receive ongoing training and opportunities to grow your skills across multiple locations in a fast-paced retail and service setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for desktops, laptops, POS systems, and mobile devices across retail and service locations
• Install, configure, and maintain hardware, software, and peripherals
• Troubleshoot network connectivity, printers, and basic server access issues
• Manage user accounts, passwords, and access permissions following security guidelines
• Document support requests, resolutions, and recurring issues in ticketing or tracking systems
• Escalate complex technical problems to senior IT staff or vendors as needed
• Assist with deployment of system updates, new applications, and equipment rollouts
• Educate end users on basic technology use, best practices, and security awareness
