Responsibilities

As an Analyst, you will undertake a variety of responsibilities including light coding, data analysis and management, developing partnership and relationships, gathering and translating requirements, coordinating with technical teams, communicating progress updates, managing stakeholder expectations, overseeing financial tracking, evaluating and prioritizing backlog refinement, facilitating problem‑solving, and driving process improvements. Perform value assessment, set prioritization criteria, and execute iterative backlog refinement leveraging project management tools. Demonstrate advanced proficiency in relevant technical domains and functional areas, utilizing industry‑standard frameworks and methodologies. Apply data‑driven decision‑making techniques to optimize project deliverables and enhance team performance. Leverage structured analytical and critical thinking methodologies to resolve complex technical challenges with efficiency and precision. Maintain an external technical focus by actively monitoring emerging trends, best practices, and innovations across the technology landscape, and applying this knowledge to bring fresh perspectives and solutions to the organization.

Manage project financials by proactively monitoring budgets, forecasting resource needs, and ensuring alignment with organizational objectives to maximize value and cost efficiency.

Basic Qualifications

Currently enrolled in and attending school, pursuing a Bachelor’s or a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering/Technology, Information Technology, Security or another relevant computer and technical program with expected graduation by August 2027. Completion of the 2026 Lilly technology summer internship or spring fellowship.

Additional Skills & Preferences

Prior experience using AI tools (e.g., generative AI platforms, automation tools, or AI‑assisted research/analytics tools) in an academic, project, or work setting. Solid skills in technical problem analysis and solving. Well‑developed written and verbal communication skills. Leadership experience inside and/or outside the classroom. Proven teamwork and interpersonal skills. Passion for working on a global, inclusive team. Familiarity with gathering and writing requirements.
