Senior Director, Controllership – Operations

• Direct and oversee comprehensive Record to Report initiatives involving complex data streams across revenue and non-revenue business functions
• Act as business sponsor for the finance technology stack, deploying ERP enhancements, automation, and reporting infrastructure
• Redesign end-to-end R2R cycles including close, consolidation, and statutory reporting
• Guide cross-functional teams through transitions and transform workforce capabilities for a modern digital finance organization
• Own the accounting ERP system and define its strategic vision, architecture, data integrity, and operational scale
• Partner with IT to manage, prioritize, and resolve critical ERP production issues
• Lead AI and automation initiatives to modernize accounting workflows
• Drive alignment and influence decisions across Accounting, Finance, Engineering, and Operations
• Identify and deploy high-impact AI/agent use cases across Controllership
• Align initiatives across Global Process Owners, cross-functional partners, and technology teams
• Facilitate stakeholder engagement across Tax, Treasury, Legal, and M&A
• Lead strategic projects within Global Accounting and present facts to resolve decision bottlenecks
• Liaise between Accounting and the Digital Enterprise Transformation team to define requirements and support design decisions
• Transform complex project updates and accounting data into executive narratives and presentations

• 12+ years of progressive experience in accounting, financial systems, or finance transformation, with a strong background in R2R processes
• Deep expertise in enterprise-level ERP systems and accounting data architecture
• Proven ability to translate complex financial needs into scalable system solutions
• Exceptional executive communication skills and ability to influence cross-functional technical and non-technical stakeholders without direct reporting authority
• Demonstrated passion for emerging technologies, specifically AI and machine learning, within finance and accounting
• Track record of designing and implementing process improvements that reduced manual effort and improved accuracy
• BA/BS degree required in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Information Systems, or related subject area, or equivalent relevant experience
• Expertise in US GAAP, IFRS, and local statutory requirements
• Robust experience with SOX audit framework
• First-hand experience implementing agentic automation and intelligent workflows within Finance
• Exceptional problem-solving skills using structured frameworks to dissect complex operational failures and present technical roadmaps
• Combination of prior management or technology consulting experience focused on transformation and hands-on Finance Operations experience is a plus
• Workday experience preferred

Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and communicate effectively with stakeholders to drive strategic finance initiatives.
