This full-time, exempt position reports to the Director of Technology. Primary responsibilities include providing data and technology support for all ministries and operations while helping maintain the church’s technology infrastructure and data systems. This role serves as a key partner in ensuring the quality, integrity, and effective use of our church management system, Rock RMS, while supporting ministry teams through reporting, process improvement, project coordination, and technology training.
RESPONSIBILITIESThe IT Data & Technology Manager coordinates and consults on the ongoing development, maintenance, and effective use of St. Luke’s church management system, Rock RMS. This position focuses on the quality of data entering the system, reporting that supports ministry decision-making, and technology solutions that improve the experience of both staff and church members.
This individual serves as a resource for ministries across the church, helping identify opportunities to streamline processes, implement technology solutions, and improve operational efficiency. The role also partners with staff to provide training, documentation, and project support related to technology initiatives.
This is a full-time position based at the North Indy campus of St. Luke’s. The role also supports the Midtown campus and will travel between campuses as needed.
DATA MANAGEMENT & REPORTING- Serve as the primary database partner for ministry and operational reporting needs.
- Develop reports and dashboards supporting annual operational activities, including giving statements, donor development, ministry engagement, attendance, and participation trends.
- Maintain the accuracy and integrity of the Rock RMS database by identifying and resolving duplicate, incomplete, or inaccurate records.
- Develop, maintain, and distribute ministry dashboards and key performance reports.
- Partner with ministry leaders to improve data collection and reporting processes.
- Serve as a Tier 1 support resource for Rock RMS and related ministry technology.
- Assist staff in effectively entering, managing, and reporting information within Rock RMS.
- Support event setup, registrations, forms, workflows, and communication processes within Rock RMS.
- Assist with maintaining the church calendar in Rock RMS and online platforms to ensure accurate communication of ministry opportunities.
- Lead or support technology training initiatives for staff and volunteers, including the development of AI-assisted training resources.
