Description
As a Commercial Underwriting Intern, you may:
Assist with underwriting activities for Commercial Auto and Business owners lines of business.
Support the completion of policy renewals, endorsements, quotes, and other underwriting transactions.
Analyze market opportunities and industry trends.
Participate in special projects involving underwriting guidelines, process improvements, and emerging business opportunities.
Review claim data and assist in developing recommendations for policy or procedural enhancements.
Evaluate underwriting materials and resources to ensure they are current, accurate, and effective.
Collaborate with underwriting professionals and gain exposure to business decision-making.
This internship is designed to provide exposure to the commercial underwriting process, helping interns develop an understanding of risk evaluation, insurance operations, and strategic decision-making. Interns will work alongside experienced underwriters while contributing to meaningful projects that support business objectives and customer needs.
