LTC Language Solutions is seeking a professional and passionate American Sign Language (ASL) Interpreter to join our team full-time in Indiana. This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact by providing language access across a variety of settings.

• Interpreting Services:
  High-quality, in-person ASL interpretation at various client locations in Indiana as needed for up to 40 hours per week
• Accurately interpret in various legal, medical and community settings
• Demonstrate cultural competency and a strong understanding of Deaf culture
• Provide exceptional customer service and maintain professionalism at all times

• Administration:
  Maintain a high level of communication with the Interpreting Manager and ASL team
• When not at interpreting assignments, provide administrative support to the Interpreting Department including but not limited to scheduling, calls and inbox management
• Develop a strong presence in the community for LTC by attending events, being involved in various networking groups, etc.
• Assist in organizing interpreter training and events

• 3+ years of ASL interpreting experience
• Passionate about providing language access
• Adherence to the RID Interpreter Code of Ethics

• Bachelor’s Degree in American Sign Language
• NIC/IIC Certification

• Business casual attire
• Closed-toe shoes
• Neatly groomed hair (pulled back if shoulder-length or longer)
• Clean, polish-free nails
