Location: Indianapolis
The City of Indianapolis & Marion County is hiring for a translation position responsible for facilitating effective communication between clients and the Public Defender Staff. The role primarily involves translating between Spanish and English as well as Burmese dialects. Additional responsibilities include attending court sessions, providing written translations, and assisting attorneys with client interactions.
This position requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, and strong Spanish language skills are a must. A deep understanding of the Latinx community and the ability to work under pressure will be beneficial.
