Senior Manager – Success Architects – Slack

This role is the leader for Slack’s global Success Architect team, responsible for ensuring the team delivers high‑quality technical engagements and drives customer value across Slack’s largest enterprise customers.

What We Do

Our Success Architect team delivers expert‑led, technical engagements that help Slack’s largest enterprise customers deploy, integrate, and scale Slack as mission‑critical infrastructure. Through deep product expertise and hands‑on advisory, Success Architects guide customers from identity and security architecture to AI enablement, workflow automation and platform extensibility.

What You Will Be Doing

You will lead your team to serve Slack’s largest and most strategic customers, ensuring adoption, deep integration and continuous business value. You will develop strategy, programs and operational cadences to leverage technical depth, advocate for customers, collaborate across Account Success, Product and Support, and build a high‑performing team aligned with Salesforce values. You will influence customer health, retention and expansion by delivering high‑quality engagements across the full Success Architect portfolio.

What

You Should Have
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Business or a related field.
  • 10+ years of relevant experience in Enterprise Architecture, Technology Consulting, Customer Success, Technical Solutions Development or Technical/Solutions Architecture.
  • Experience leading a technical team in the enterprise software space with direct oversight of engagement deliverables and customer executive alignment.
  • Hands‑on experience with the Slack platform, including extensibility, APIs, integration ecosystem, and enterprise deployment patterns; familiarity with SAML, SSO, SCIM, eDiscovery, DLP and key SaaS integrations.
  • Proven ability to navigate, escalated, and resolve complex customer challenges in large, distributed enterprise environments.
  • Strong communication, presentation and influence skills at executive and C‑level.
  • Track record of delivering against targets and KPIs, and driving change in a customer‑facing organization.

  • Experience building and scaling a globally distributed technical team.
  • Hands‑on experience with Slack APIs, workflow automation or custom Slack application development.
  • Background or interest in Generative AI technologies.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Diplomacy and poise under pressure when working through complex customer issues.
  • Experience influencing cross‑functional teams without direct authority.
