. Hall Render is seeking a highly qualified Mergers & Acquisitions Attorney to join our dynamic Health Transactions Practice Group in the Indianapolis, IN;
Raleigh, NC;
Denver, CO; or Troy, MI office. You will work closely with some of the largest and most innovative organizations in the health care industry as a trusted advisor on complex deals, regulatory matters, and strategic initiatives.
This position is open in the Indianapolis, Raleigh, Denver and Troy office.
Responsibilities- Trusted, Strategic Advisor:
Provide sophisticated legal counsel to health systems, hospitals, physician groups, health care management organizations, private equity-backed health care funds, academic medical centers, behavioral health providers, and other healthcare providers. - Dive into Complex Transactions:
Advise on mergers, asset transactions, joint ventures, private equity transactions, and affiliation arrangements. Manage due diligence processes and transaction timelines, ensuring business and legal alignment. - Client Centric Approach:
Craft pragmatic, business-focused legal strategies that support long-term client success. - Team Drive Success:
Collaborate within a collegial, intellectually rigorous team with a team-first mindset and commitment to excellence.
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
- Active bar license in good standing, or ability to become licensed in Indiana, North Carolina, Colorado, or Michigan within one year (additional state bar admissions are a plus).
- At least 5–10 years of transactions experience, preferably in the health care sector.
- Demonstrated ability to lead due diligence, manage timelines, and guide clients through all phases of transactions.
- Strong drafting and negotiation skills with experience handling complex contracts and documents.
- Experience advising on regulatory compliance, including Stark, Anti-Kickback, and antitrust considerations.
- Ability to collaborate with attorneys across the firm to provide seamless client services.

For purposes of complying with Colorado pay transparency requirements, a good faith estimation of the annualized salary range for this role will be $190,000 to $275,000, depending on candidate’s overall experience, portable client portfolio, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
