Overview
McAnlis Law Group has an immediate need for a litigator ready to get involved and grow with an active real estate law firm. Our attorneys are in court on a daily basis on landlord-tenant and other real estate matters throughout central Indiana. Must be licensed to practice in Indiana. Being licensed in the Southern District of Indiana and a working knowledge of Bankruptcy law is a plus. The position is based at our Broad ripple office.

- Communicate with attorneys, paralegals, and clients to ensure cases are handled efficiently
- Keep files organized to make sure the most recent updates are accessible to other attorneys, paralegals, and staff
- Prepare for and attend hearings or other legal proceedings
- Review client issues on legal matters, analyze available options, and diligently work to determine the best course of action
- Draft documents such as correspondence, pleadings, motions, briefs, affidavits, settlement agreements, and contracts to be used proceedings and contract negotiations
- Working knowledge of client management systems, calendaring, and task management
- Able to manage multiple cases with conflicting deadlines and time pressures.
- Active member of the Indiana Bar (required).
- Prepared to learn from senior attorneys to meet our client needs and grow our client base
- Effective communication skills and problem-solving skills are necessary to work with all levels of staff and clients
- Must have a clean record with respect to malpractice judgments and bar grievance determinations
