URGENT – Experienced Immigration Attorney Needed (Master Hearing Coverage - Indianapolis)

Location: Downtown Indianapolis, IN (hearing is in-person)

Engagement: One guaranteed hearing; strong potential for future hearings

Compensation: $50–$55 per hour (DOE)

Training: 3–4 hours provided and paid (remote training)

Estimated Billable Time: Approximately 4–5 billable hours per matter, in addition to paid training

Expenses: Mileage and parking reimbursed

We are urgently seeking an immigration attorney who is immediately available to attend a Master Calendar Hearing in downtown Indianapolis. This is an excellent short-term opportunity with one hearing guaranteed and the possibility of ongoing work for the right attorney.

You will work with real clients represented by a national immigration firm, gaining valuable “big firm” immigration experience, paid training, and meaningful exposure to established immigration practitioners.

• Immediate need for one hearing (with future opportunities likely)
• Paid training (3–4 hours) to ensure full preparation
• 4–5 hours of billable time per matter, separate from training
• Opportunity to network with experienced immigration attorneys
• Ideal for attorneys looking to expand or deepen immigration court experience
• Spanish fluency preferred, but not required

• J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school
• Active bar membership in good standing (any U.S. state)
• Active EOIR number required
• Basic knowledge of U.S. immigration law required
• Prior immigration experience - USCIS (affirmative cases) and/or EOIR / Immigration Court (defensive cases)
• Prior experience appearing in immigration court strongly preferred
