This is a flexible, appointment-based opportunity—not a full-time role—designed for professionals who want meaningful work that fits their schedule and location, without the traditional constraints of a permanent position.
What You’ll Do
- Appear on behalf of clients at Master Calendar Hearings
- Represent clients professionally and confidently in immigration court
- Accept assignments based on your availability and preferred locations
- Collaborate with our legal team as needed for case preparation
What We’re Looking For
- 1–3 years of attorney experience
- Spanish speaking a plus but not required
- At least 1 year of immigration court experience preferred
- Active bar license in good standing (any U.S. jurisdiction)
- Reliable, detail-oriented, and comfortable appearing in court independently
Independent Contractor Details
- This role is a 1099 independent contractor position
- No guaranteed hours; work is assignment-based
- Attorneys maintain control over when and where they accept engagements
- This position does not include employee benefits or full-time expectations
Why This Role Works
- Not a full-time position — this is a gig-style, contract opportunity
- Appointment-based assignments you can accept on your terms
- Paid training provided to ensure confidence and consistency
- Meaningful work supporting individuals and families through critical moments
- Ideal for attorneys seeking flexibility, supplemental income, or court experience without long-term obligations
This opportunity is perfect for attorneys who want to stay engaged in immigration law without sacrificing autonomy or work-life balance.
