Job Overview
A law firm seeks a Construction Litigation Associate Attorney for its Indianapolis, Indiana office. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction litigation and be ready to contribute to a dynamic legal team.
Duties- Conduct written discovery and depositions.
- Draft pleadings and substantive motions.
- Participate in mediations and court appearances.
- Assist at trials and arbitrations.
- 5-7 years of construction or commercial litigation experience.
- Familiarity with the construction industry preferred.
- Superior academic credentials.
- Excellent research and writing skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Indiana licensure, or ability to timely obtain licensure.
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Licensed to practice law in Indiana or eligible for licensure.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in legal research tools and software.
