Salary - $130,000 - $150,000 + Bonus & Excellent Benefits
SummaryNter Talent are supporting a high-growth business, hiring a Supply Chain Director who will lead, plan, and coordinate all supply chain activities to ensure the effective execution of production plans, availability of direct materials, and timely customer shipments. This role is responsible for building efficient business processes, developing a high-performing supply chain team, and driving operational excellence across the plant. The position is a key member of the site leadership team and plays a critical role in aligning supply chain strategy with broader business objectives.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and support all safety policies and procedures across the supply chain function
- Establish, monitor, and achieve performance metrics, implementing action plans as needed
- Develop and execute training programs to build a knowledgeable and capable supply chain team
- Create material cost forecasts and standard cost models
- Monitor demand forecasts and quotas to assess impacts on supply chain operations
- Design and implement new or improved supply chain processes to meet internal and external needs
- Document supply chain workflows, cycle times, roles, and system processes
- Design and implement warehousing strategies for raw materials and finished goods
- Analyze inventory to improve turns, reduce waste, and optimize customer service levels
- Support engineering changes, product line extensions, and new product launches to ensure smooth material and production transitions
- Develop and implement supply chain strategies aligned with business goals, market conditions, and cost-reduction initiatives
- Build annual budgets and long-term strategic plans, including labor and capital expenditure planning
- Oversee all aspects of the supply chain to ensure operational and financial targets are met
- Maintain housekeeping and organizational standards within responsible areas
- Lead, coach, and develop supply chain personnel
- Manage hiring, onboarding, training, performance evaluations, and employee development
- Address performance issues, employee concerns, and operational challenges in line with company policies
- 5+ years of people management experience, including leading an entire team
- 5+ years of experience working within SAP or similar ERP systems
- Strong background in supply chain, customer planning, and material planning
- Manufacturing experience required; food manufacturing experience is a plus
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
- Advanced experience with SAP and/or other ERP systems
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to present information effectively to employees and stakeholders
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, trends, and performance metrics
