Supply Chain Planner Specialist

The Position

As a Global Product Planner you will drive operational excellence and ensure product availability across our Indianapolis and Mannheim, Germany hubs. You will develop and manage supply plans using affiliate and statistical forecasts, maintain accurate MRP master data, and lead bottleneck management, allocation, reserve management, and scrap mitigation across the network.

Primary responsibilities include:

• Develop global supply plans and deliver them to manufacturing and supplier partners.
• Resolve supply exceptions with partners to minimize customer impact.
• Monitor cycle time, critical batches, and planning parameters to avoid destruction costs or stock‑outs.
• Track schedule adherence and discuss deviations during Supply Review meetings.
• Notify regions and affiliates of potential or actual product bottlenecks.
• Manage inventory levels at global distribution centers to ensure high service levels at lowest cost.
• Support life‑cycle management for product launches, conversions, and phase‑outs.
• Own and optimize master data settings for planning and supply processes.
• Produce reports for Annual Planning or S&OP to support planning decisions.
• Manage sub‑projects within defined task packages, including budget responsibility.
• Analyze complex data sets and implement improvement measures.
