Order & Supply Chain Specialist

Overview

In this role, you will plan and direct the analysis of complex business problems to be solved with automated systems. You will provide technical assistance in identifying, evaluating and developing systems and procedures that are cost‑effective and meet user requirements. You will configure system settings, create specifications for systems to meet business requirements, and design details of automated systems. You may also provide consultation to users in the area of automated systems and lead cross‑functional teams.

• Lead domestic and international order processing for the diagnostics operations division.
• Execute system functions in SAP to monitor and resolve open orders, verify product availability, and perform manual interventions and escalations as needed.
• Ensure on‑time and in‑full supply of products from supply planning to delivery.
• Coordinate and communicate with commercial operations, inventory control, planning, and material handling/shipping operations.
• Collaborate with Senior Customer Care Agents to investigate, escalate, and resolve complex order‑related issues and to implement process improvements.
• Assist with identifying and developing continuous operational improvement opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable federal and international regulations and Roche Global Supply Chain Standards.

• Bachelor’s degree and at least 2 years of equivalent experience in business‑to‑business customer support.
• Experience with ordering/inventory management/invoicing/delivery systems; SAP preferred.
• Proficiency with SAP SD and common software applications (Google, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.).
• Strong learning ability and capacity to perform complex software functions with minimal direction.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and a high degree of cultural awareness.
• Ability to manage change and maintain technical accuracy while prioritizing daily tasks and project responsibilities in a fast‑paced environment.

• Competitive salary range: $62,900 – $116,700 (based on experience, qualifications, and location).
• Potential discretionary annual bonus based on performance.
