Indianapolis. V2X is looking for a Logistics Specialist II to join our team.
The Logistics Specialist II provides logistical support to a dedicated ship team responsible for the processing of end‑item deliverables, screens documentation to meet contractual requirements, assists in producing documentation for customer acceptance and invoicing, and performs cross‑functional duties within receiving, shipping, and inventory/material control.
- Interface with internal and external customers, peers, and management to deliver resolution in assigned areas.
- Communicate tactfully and diplomatically when assisting customers.
- Make decisions with minimal supervision.
- Define and track shipment totals against contractual line items.
- Resolve customer requirements for delivery of contractual deliverables.
- Perform research and analysis across various systems.
- Work in a fast‑paced, multi‑tasking environment.
- Provide training to others as required.
One-year related experience may substitute for one year of education if a degree is required. Minimum university degree or equivalent experience and 2 years of prior relevant experience. Minimum 5 years of experience utilizing SAP systems and planning of tasking.
ExperienceCore logistics functions of Receiving, Storing, Issuing, Inventory, and Delivery. Knowledge of SAP applications including Horizon, Prism, Apex, APEX/Prism Shipping processes, DFARS Appendix F, Wide Area Workflow (WAWF). Ability to perform research and analysis in a variety of systems, record and track shipment totals, resolve customer requirements, and adapt to new tasks.
Skills & Technology UsedExceptional written and verbal communication skills. Intermediate knowledge & experience with Microsoft Office Suite (4–6 years). Ability to use SAP systems.
RequiredMust possess or have the ability to obtain a Secret Clearance. High School Diploma.
