Location: Legendary Hills

Your Role at Baxter

Responsible for Third‑Party Logistics (3PL) supplier management and the primary, dedicated liaison between Baxter and the 3PL's warehouse operations. The role is positioned directly onsite at a 3PL warehouse and serves as the immediate point of escalation for inventory, orders, and shipping. The Logistics Supervisor optimizes operational workflows and implements continuous improvement initiatives to support business and commercial strategies.

What you'll be doing
  • Day‑to‑day operations management onsite, working with 3PL management to ensure service levels, process execution, and escalations.
  • Seek to improve all aspects of the supply chain processes, tools, and policies.
  • Develop, implement, and execute daily 3PL management processes to support supply chain fulfillment and business objectives.
  • Maintain a strong relationship with the 3PL to optimize performance, resolve issues, and develop improvement strategies.
  • Work with order management, sales & marketing, product managers, manufacturing, suppliers, distribution centers, and transportation to support business objectives.
  • Maintain strong relationships with Planning & Deployment teams to guarantee inventory levels and optimize inventory costs.
  • Leverage IT and analytical tools to address issues and opportunities, supporting goals, objectives, and normal operations flow.
  • Monitor KPIs and use data analytics to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Accountable for maximizing service and proactively identifying issues impacting service alongside fulfillment goals.
  • Oversee inventory accuracy, including managing cycle counts, stock reconciliation, and regular audits.
  • Adhere to all environmental, health and safety SOPs, equipment, policies, and procedures, including department‑specific requirements.
  • Attend and lead daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly business reviews as required.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
What you'll bring
  • Bachelor's degree in Operations/Logistics or similar.
  • 5‑7 years related experience.
  • Strong business acumen with comprehensive understanding of inventory, transportation, KPIs, and service levels.
  • Ability to analyze data to systematically address complex business issues and opportunities.
  • Excellent communication skills across all levels and geographies.
  • Strong project management and problem‑solving skills.
  • Embraces change, challenges status quo, and recommends improvements to operations and processes.
  • Strong negotiation skills.
  • Effective stakeholder management.
  • Drive results through leadership and self‑management.
  • Good presentation skills.
Compensation

Estimated base salary $72,000‑$91,000 annually. The range reflects anticipated salary based on market data and other factors. Individual pay is based on location, skills, experience, and other relevant factors. The position may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
