We are seeking an experienced Buyer to provide outstanding service to internal stakeholders by validating and satisfying requirements efficiently and effectively, and interface with internal supplier management teams and suppliers.
Responsibilities- Building strong relationships with internal stakeholders, working across all areas of the business and regions
- Prioritize, plan and manage daily workflow, purchasing tasks, status and reporting
- Perform standard purchasing transactional and administrative tasks
- Ensure supplier selection and sourcing recommendations are in accordance with agreed commodity strategies and commercial frameworks
- Operate and comply with all purchasing processes, procedures and systems
- Identify and recommend workflow process efficiency improvements
- Associate degree with 3+ years of purchasing, logistics or supply chain experience, OR
- Bachelor’s degree with 1+ years of purchasing, logistics or supply chain experience, OR
- Master’s degree, OR
- JD/PhD, OR
- 5+ years of purchasing, logistics or supply chain experience, in lieu of a degree
- In order to be eligible for consideration, you must be a U.S. Citizen
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
- Familiarity with purchasing and supply chain management
