Job Summary

The Reverse Operator at , Inc. plays a critical role in managing and processing returned or exchanged products, ensuring efficient and accurate reverse logistics operations to maintain customer satisfaction and optimize inventory.

Job Responsibilities
  • Receive, inspect, and verify returned products against original order details and return authorizations.
  • Document product condition, categorize returns (e.g., damaged, defective, customer remorse), and initiate appropriate disposition processes.
  • Perform quality checks and basic troubleshooting on returned electronics and other goods to determine re-sellable status or repair needs.
  • Update inventory management systems with accurate return data, including product status, location, and reason for return.
  • Coordinate with quality control, repair teams, and warehousing staff for further processing of returned items.
  • Prepare products for return to stock, refurbishment, or disposal according to established procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and safety regulations throughout the reverse logistics process.
  • Identify and report recurring issues or trends in product returns to management for process improvement.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment in the reverse logistics area.
Job Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree or technical certification is a plus. 1+ year of experience in a warehouse, logistics, or quality control environment, preferably with reverse logistics experience. Familiarity with product inspection and quality assessment techniques. Proficiency in using inventory management systems and basic computer applications. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and product handling. Ability to lift and move packages up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.

Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Problem-solving aptitude and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of e-commerce operations is a plus.
