This position is contracted by the Horse Technologies Division and is based in Valladolid, with occasional travel to other Horse Powertrain centers.

MissionAs a Buyer, you are responsible for executing strategic sourcing activities to ensure cost efficiency, quality, and reliable supply within your category. You collaborate with category managers and cross-functional teams to implement global strategies, manage supplier relationships, and lead negotiations, contributing to a strong and competitive supply chain.
Key Responsibilities- Drive and continuously develop procurement activities within your assigned category
- Identify and implement cost reduction initiatives and efficiency improvements
- Conduct market analysis, benchmarking, and supplier evaluations
- Act as the primary point of contact for suppliers and manage ongoing relationships
- Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders (R&D, Manufacturing, Logistics, Strategy, etc.)
- Lead and execute commercial negotiations at a global level
- Support supplier development and performance improvement initiatives
- Ensure alignment with global sourcing strategies and business objectives
- Strong expertise in sourcing processes, supplier management, and contract negotiation within complex, global environments, ensuring competitive and reliable supply bases
- Proven ability to analyze market trends and translate insights into effective, data-driven sourcing strategies that support business objectives
- Solid experience in managing and developing strategic supplier relationships, driving performance improvements and long-term value creation
- Strong business acumen with a clear focus on optimizing cost, quality, and delivery, while balancing commercial and operational priorities
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate cross-functionally and influence stakeholders across different departments, supported by excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Analytical and results-oriented professional with over 5 years in procurement or commercial roles, a proactive mindset, and full professional fluency in English
