Race Winning Brands (RWB) is the leading manufacturer of racing and high-performance parts sold to automotive and powersports markets. RWB is the preferred source for high-end pistons, engine blocks, cylinder heads, intake manifolds, connecting rods, crankshafts, clutches, transmissions, springs and other engine and driveline‑related performance components.

JOB SUMMARY:

The Sourcing Specialist is responsible for supporting the execution of sourcing strategies to secure high-quality materials, components, and services from national and international suppliers at competitive cost. This role involves preparing RFQs, supporting supplier negotiations, tracking cost reduction initiatives, and coordinating supplier activities to ensure a reliable and efficient supply chain. The Sourcing Specialist will work closely with cross‑functional teams to support business objectives, drive cost savings, and enhance supplier performance.

The position can considered for hybrid or remote employment but must be based near one of our facilities in Ohio, Michigan, New Jersey or North Carolina.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Support sourcing initiatives by preparing RFQs, cost models, and benchmarking data.
  • Track supplier responses and ensure timely follow‑up.
  • Assist in documenting and implementing agreed supplier terms.
  • Coordinate vendor summits and supplier performance reviews including agendas and follow‑up tracking.
  • Maintain supplier scorecards and track continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Execute cost reduction initiatives and maintain savings tracking dashboards and reporting.
  • Support packaging and MRO resourcing including supplier identification, qualification, and cost comparisons.
  • Analyze freight terms and support incoterm optimization initiatives (e.g., EXW to FOB transitions).
  • Coordinate with logistics providers and brokers to optimize total landed cost.
  • Assist in converting non‑termed suppliers into formal agreements and track contract lifecycle status.
  • Ensure sourcing activities comply with company procurement policies and standards.
  • Support raw material cost tracking and reporting (e.g., aluminum, iron pass‑throughs).
  • Facilitate communication between suppliers and internal stakeholders.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance sourcing efficiency and scalability.
Requirements

Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
  • Certification in supply chain or procurement (e.g., APICS, CPSM) is a plus.
Experience:
  • 2–5 years of experience in sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management.
  • Experience supporting RFQs, supplier negotiations, and cost analysis preferred.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment.
Other Skills (Technical, or Other special knowledge and abilities):
  • Microsoft Office proficiency.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Basic understanding of sourcing processes, cost modeling, and supplier management.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
