About the role and what you’ll be doing:

The Open Systems Procurement Leader owns end‑to‑end procurement for Ensono’s Open Systems and Cloud client business. This role leads the Open Systems Pod, driving all client‑impacting commercial activity from quote through renewal, including pricing, supplier strategy, asset management, and partner programs.

  • Own end‑to‑end procurement for all Open Systems and Cloud client work: quotes, renewals, maintenance, asset management, cloud usage, and partner programs.
  • Lead, develop, and retain a high‑performing pod team with clear accountability for revenue‑supporting outcomes for the Open Systems business.
  • Partner with executive and senior stakeholders as a trusted commercial advisor on sourcing strategy, supplier risk, and deal economics.
  • Lead complex deal pursuits for Open Systems and Cloud opportunities – bid strategy, pricing, and margin optimization are run end‑to‑end within the pod.
  • Align with the Vendor Management Office on governance, supplier compliance, and contract & entitlement integrity.
  • Track and report on pod‑level KPIs: cycle time, savings, deal velocity, and throughput.
  • Track and continuously improve stakeholder experience – for internal sales, solutioning, and client‑facing partners – to ensure the pod consistently meets business needs with quality and pace.
  • Identify opportunities for cost optimization, innovation, and process improvement; contribute to leadership bench strength and succession planning across the Procurement organization.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 10+ years of experience in Strategic Sourcing, Procurement, or Supply Chain management.
  • 5+ years of experience leading and managing teams in a sourcing or procurement function.
  • Proven experience supporting complex, high‑value IT deals and enterprise sourcing initiatives.
  • Strong executive‑level communication, negotiation, and influencing skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to operate in a matrixed, fast‑paced, growth‑oriented environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • MBA or equivalent advanced degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain, or related field.
  • Experience working in a Managed Service Provider or technology services organization.
  • Experience partnering with Sales and Deal teams on pricing, margin, and commercial structures.
  • Experience owning end‑to‑end commercial outcomes for a business line – quote through renewal – not just functional sourcing.
  • Critical thinking skills with experience applying analytics, automation, or AI to sourcing decisions.
  • Exposure to using AI tools or technologies to improve efficiency.

Benefits:

  • Unlimited Paid Days Off
  • Three health plan options through Blue Cross Blue Shield
  • 401(k) with company match
  • Eligibility for dental, vision, short and long‑term disability, life and AD&D coverage, and flexible spending accounts
  • Paid Maternity Leave, Paternity Leave, and Sabbatical Leave
  • Education Reimbursement, Student Loan Assistance or 529 College Funding
  • Enhanced fertility coverage
  • Wellness program
  • Flexible work schedule
  • Depending on location, ability to take advantage of fitness centers
