Material Planner

Description

We’re raising the standard for what a medium‑duty truck should be – delivering vehicles, infrastructure, and support designed to work for you.

Full‑time

• Determine the required materials and generate schedules.
• Ensure the consistent and adequate supply of materials necessary for production.
• Coordinate with other departments regarding production goals, timeliness, and related matters.
• Track production volume and monitor demand patterns and purchasing trends.
• Schedule and oversee the supply and delivery of materials and products.
• Raise inventory issues, schedule changes, and cancellations.
• Actively seek ways to improve efficiency and quality within your own role while supporting broader company‑wide improvement projects that involve your function.

• High‑school diploma or GED required.
• Degree in business, logistics, inventory management, or a related field preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in material planning, inventory management, purchasing, or a related position.
• Strong organizational and time‑management skills.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes and supply‑chain management.
• Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and material‑management systems.
• Willingness to travel up to 10% domestically.
• Must successfully complete a background investigation and drug screen as a condition of employment.
• Position requires use of a Workhorse or customer‑owned vehicle. Offer of employment contingent upon a clean driving record, no more than four active points for moving violations, and no history of operating a vehicle under the influence of controlled substances within the last ten years.
