Lead Operator, Fowler

About the Role

Lead Operators are responsible for the outside operations of the Elevator (grain receiving and storage) as well as leading Outside Operators.

• Learn and implement Primient’s EHS programs in daily work activities.
• Conduct regular EHS Toolbox Meetings and participate in Behavioral audits.
• Lead employees in daily work to achieve objectives set by management.
• Communicate operational updates, grain inventories, grain quality, logistics, and anticipated needs.
• Assist in daily location planning and forecast future needs.
• Manage time, communicate progress of projects, maintenance, daily loads/unloads and needs.
• Maintain housekeeping of the facility, tools, equipment, mobile and fixed assets.
• Ensure all safety programs, housekeeping, maintenance, and month‑end processes are kept current.
• Provide positive workforce leadership and supervise employees.
• Apply knowledge of grading and scale operations for inbound and outbound grain.
• Monitor security and safeguard assets.
• Promote Primient to customers and community.
• Participate in grain quality control and daily maintenance.
• Operate and monitor grain receiving and shipping operations.

• High school diploma/equivalent (higher education preferred).
• Mechanical equipment operating experience.
• Team player and willing to work overtime hours during harvest season.
• Ability to climb and work at heights exceeding 50ft and work in all outdoor conditions.

Starting pay of $25.00/hour plus overtime.
