Job Overview

As a Production Planning & Control Manager, you will support S&OP, evaluate demand changes, prepare responses, undertake scenario planning, ensure robust plans, and work closely with manufacturing leadership to meet delivery requirements for Turbine manufacturing.

Responsibilities
  • Ensure the ERP system reflects current schedule requirements and drive ERP compliance with the team.
  • Identify, prioritize, and, where appropriate, escalated supply‑chain risks that could impact delivery.
  • Manage and lead a team of MRPC professionals, aligning to generic roles and developing required competencies.
  • Drive inventory optimization while ensuring customer deliveries are met.
  • Deploy standard inventory planning processes to manage excess/surplus and ensure adherence to stock audit.
  • Support relevant CoP’s and process councils, share best practice, and continually improve standard processes.
  • Ensure appropriate scheduling and resourcing of standard P&C related assessments; support IPPR assessments.
Qualifications
  • Associate’s degree in Engineering, Business, or Supply Chain with 7+ years of Supply Chain experience, or
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or Supply Chain with 5+ years of Supply Chain experience, or
  • Master’s degree in Engineering, Business, or Supply Chain with 3+ years of Supply Chain experience, or
  • JD/PhD, or
  • 9+ years of Supply Chain experience in lieu of a degree.

Preferred Requirements
  • Previous experience managing teams and people.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver under challenging circumstances.
  • Understanding of different roles/functions/processes (e.g., Manufacturing, Purchase, NPI, ME).
  • Implemented improvement activity and participated in change management.
  • Experience with production planning and control.
  • Knowledge of and working experience with MRP.
  • Proficient in MS Office or equivalent.
  • Effective communication, collaboration, and cross‑functional problem‑solving skills; commitment to core company behaviors.
