Since that time, we have expanded to providing a variety of clinical services to Healthcare clients across all 50 states.
As a Logistics Coordinator, you will be responsible for all aspects of logistics operations within our company's Scheduled Services division. This role involves managing the movement, storage, and distribution of goods to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and compliance with regulations. You will work closely with various teams to coordinate logistics activities and optimize processes to meet company objectives.
Schedule: This is a full‑time position and will report to our corporate office in Indianapolis during normal business hours. Occasional weekend remote monitoring of any weekend deliveries can also be anticipated.

Key Responsibilities- Administer all logistics operations within our company's scheduled services division, managing goods' movement, storage, and distribution, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and compliance with regulations.
- Work closely with various teams to coordinate logistics activities and optimize processes to meet company objectives.
- Develop and implement logistics strategies to optimize efficiency, reduce costs, and improve service quality.
- Manage inventory control processes, including forecasting, replenishment, and monitoring inventory levels to minimize excess or shortage.
- Develop and implement key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the performance of logistics operations, analyze data to identify areas for improvement, and take corrective actions as necessary.
- Lead and motivate a team of logistics professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and training to ensure high performance and continuous development.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to streamline processes, enhance efficiency, and optimize resource utilization within the logistics function.
- Manage the entire supply chain process, from procurement to distribution, including sourcing vendors, negotiating contracts, and ensuring timely delivery of equipment and supplies.
- Maintain accurate inventory levels to ensure facilities have necessary equipment and supplies.
- Help implement inventory management systems and procedures to track stock levels, anticipate demand, and prevent shortages or overstock situations.
- Ensure adherence to strict regulations, standards, and other regulatory bodies relevant to healthcare logistics.
- Stay updated on regulations and ensure all logistics activities comply with them.
- Coordinate the transportation of medical imaging equipment and supplies, ensuring safe and timely delivery.
- Work with freight carriers, arranging specialized transportation for sensitive equipment, and optimizing delivery routes.
- Ensure the quality and integrity of medical imaging equipment and supplies throughout the logistics process.
- Implement quality assurance measures, such as inspection protocols and proper handling procedures, to maintain product integrity.
- Manage cost effectively, optimizing transportation, storage, and procurement to reduce costs while maintaining quality and efficiency.
- Communicate and collaborate with healthcare providers, equipment manufacturers, distributors, and regulatory agencies to ensure successful operations.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders to ensure smooth logistics operations.
- A Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or a related field. An advanced degree or professional certification (e.g., CSCMP, CSCP) is a plus.
- Proven experience in logistics management, with a strong understanding of transportation, warehousing, and inventory management principles.
