Medical Warehouse Coordinator – Indianapolis, IN, US

Salary: $18 - $20 per hour

Job Details:
Permanent role with a work schedule from 7:00am to 3:30pm. As a Supply Chain Specialist, you will play a crucial role in managing and streamlining our supply chain operations within a large healthcare network.

Responsibilities
  • Develop, implement, and monitor all logistics management activities required for the timely and efficient transportation and distribution of products.
  • Manage and maintain inventory levels, ensuring quantities are sufficient for needs while minimizing costs.
  • Forecast supply and demand to prevent overstock and running out-of-stock (OOS).
  • Plan and implement supply chain optimization projects (e.g., warehouse-slotting, route planning).
  • Coordinate with staff from different departments to ensure supply chain processes are running smoothly and cost-effectively.
  • Prepare and present detailed reports on the supply chain's performance.
  • Implement new technologies to enhance logistics efficiency.
  • Troubleshoot any concerns related to international freight transportation.
  • Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of products and compliance with the company's standards of quality.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with all connected suppliers, vendors, and customers.
  • Qualifications
  • Not required, but a plus - Bachelor s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the healthcare industry.
  • Proven experience in inventory management is a must.
  • Solid understanding of supply chain and inventory management systems.
  • Outstanding analytical, problem-solving and organizational abilities.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team.
  • Excellent knowledge of data analysis and forecasting methods.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and supply chain software.
  • Ability to manage logistics of all aspects of the supply chain, from product development to the shipment of finished items.
  • Understanding of accounting or finance is a plus.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail, with a quality-focused mindset.
  • Self-motivated with a sense of urgency and a customer-focused approach.
