Position Summary Description Position Summary

This role owns procurement execution for all non-OEM (non-Caterpillar) supplier commodities supporting Mac Allister's electric power strategic accounts business. The Procurement Specialist is accountable for sourcing, purchasing, and delivery of assigned commodity categories — including enclosures (packaging), clean emissions modules (CEMs), plenums, camboards, and other ancillary equipment — ensuring supply continuity, cost discipline, specification compliance, and on-time delivery aligned to project schedules.

This role operates as the primary commercial interface with assigned suppliers, owning supplier commercial and delivery performance, purchase order execution, and supply risk identification. The Procurement Specialist works cross-functionally with Engineering, Supplier Quality, Project Management, and Field Execution teams to ensure procurement decisions align with technical requirements and project timelines.

This is an individual contributor role with no direct reports. As the business scales, additional Procurement Specialist roles are anticipated, with commodity assignments divided across the group.
