Position SummaryThis is a central role leading projects within the dedicated task force of Delivery Works, who is chartered to diagnose and permanently fix the root causes behind chronic delivery failures. As a Supply Chain Program Manager, you will own end-to-end initiatives within a portfolio of projects from problem definition through corrective action closure, serving as the primary integration point across programs, supply chain, planning, procurement, quality, engineering, and manufacturing.
WhatYou Will Be Doing
- Serve as the central point of accountability for the assigned delivery improvement initiatives: charter, governance, and outcomes
- Manage a portfolio of active and potential improvement projects, taking accountability for the schedule, milestones, risk, and regular reporting of progress.
- Convene and run recurring task force reviews with cross-functional leads (planning, procurement, quality, manufacturing, engineering) to drive issues to closure — not just status updates
- Maintain communications with stakeholders including status reporting to senior stakeholders as defined in the project governance structure for the assigned projects
- Manage project changes, such as cancelling projects or changing scope of projects to react to changes in direction
- Escalate systemic or cross-functional blockers to leadership with clear options and recommendations
- Validate that implemented fixes eliminate recurrence through follow-up audits
- Institutionalize permanent fixes into standard work — updated planning parameters, supplier requirements, or process controls — so the task force can eventually stand down
- Support and/or lead communities of practice across the global Delivery Works program management team
- Associate degree with 7+ years of supply chain or operations experience and program/project management experience, OR
- Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of supply chain or operations experience, and program / project management experience, OR
- Master’s degree or higher with 3+ years of supply chain or operations experience, and program / project management experience, OR
- JD/PhD, OR
- 9+ years of supply chain or operations experience, and program / project management experience in lieu of a degree
- To be eligible for consideration, you must be a U.S. Citizen
- Significant experience in supply chain and operations within a manufacturing industry
- Understanding of ERP, MRP, planning systems, and data tools (Excel required; Power BI/Tableau a plus)
- Understanding of key supply chain processes such as planning / SIOP, sourcing, manufacturing, delivery and delivery governance (short term interval control, rate readiness, ERP compliance, data integrity management). Logistics, warehousing, and returns experience is not required
- Strong track record driving cross-functional accountability without direct authority — this role must move people to closure, not just track them
- Comfortable dealing with ambiguity and complex environments
- Excellent communication skills
