Job Description & How to Apply Below

Build what artists rely on—one precise transaction at a time Since 1919, AMACO has equipped makers and classrooms with safe, high‑quality ceramic materials and equipment. As a third‑generation, family‑owned manufacturer and a founding member of the Arts and Creative Materials Institute, our legacy blends craftsmanship with innovation.

At our Brickyard manufacturing site, we’re seeking a Dynamics NAV ERP Operations Coordinator to orchestrate the data, materials, and documentation that keep our ceramic production humming.

Your day at a glance

Morning starts with a quick scan of production orders in Microsoft Dynamics NAV: you release paperwork, reconcile inventory discrepancies, and flag material shortages. Midday, you’re the go‑to liaison for NAV issues—fielding questions, troubleshooting reporting quirks, and coordinating upgrades. In the afternoon, you’ll verify replenished items landed in the right bins, receive parts into stock, and sync with Accounts Payable to reconcile order details.

Throughout, you partner with Supply Chain and floor teams to keep lead times on target.

What you’ll tackle
  • Serve as the day‑to‑day Microsoft Dynamics NAV (ERP) point person for issues, enhancements, and upgrades.
  • Reconcile order information between NAV and Accounts Payable.
  • Manage and balance on‑hand inventory; analyze component availability.
  • Quickly learn and apply new platforms (MS Dynamics NAV, Jet Reports, and related tools).
  • Occasionally verify replenished materials are stocked in the correct bins and locations.
  • Report production order activity (completions, scrap, labor hours).
  • Communicate material shortages and excesses to the Supply Chain team.
  • Receive incoming parts into stock and maintain accurate records.
  • Plan and track material movement across production cycles to support continuous operations and lead‑time goals.
  • Release production paperwork (picks, work instructions, QC documents).
  • Execute cycle count tasks and related follow‑ups.
  • Collaborate across teams to problem‑solve; take on special assignments as needed.
  • Perform additional duties assigned by the Assistant Manager; work under the guidance of the division supervisor and occasionally a crew leader.
What you bring
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Microsoft NAV; accurate data entry skills.
  • Clear written and verbal communication; strong interpersonal skills.
  • Sound problem‑solving and decision‑making abilities; solid basic math.
  • Ability to lift 50–75 lbs on occasion and to work in hot environments.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent (required); 1 year of Microsoft NAV transaction experience (preferred).
