• Our Client is looking for an Automation Technician with a minimum of 4-6 years experience with automation or robotics.
• Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot automated machines experiencing downtime, document maintenance, and create maintenance documents.
• Work with automated components, both mechanical and electrical practices, including pneumatics, motorized conveyors, barcode scanners, sensors, and similar components.
• Access computer-based controls via HMI on a daily basis.
• Use hand tools to build and test designs; assist with installation and deployment when required.
• Minimal travel will be required to install and deploy designs.
• Engage in a physically demanding role that may involve climbing ladders and working around machinery; may lift objects up to 60 lbs.
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office software.
• A degree is not required; relevant experience is acceptable.
• Internal patrols within the manufacturing facility to identify abnormalities and resolve issues to prevent downtime (not security patrols).

• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills; able to work in a team environment to achieve goals.
• Experience with Solid Works CAD software is desired.
• Patrols would be internal to the manufacturing facility, patrolling the operations and looking for abnormalities to resolve to prevent downtime.
