Director of Maintenance

Custodian is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment at Triton Corporation. This individual plays a vital role in supporting the daily operations of the school building by ensuring classrooms, restrooms, offices, hallways, and common areas are clean, sanitized, and secure.

• Clean and sanitize restrooms, classrooms and other school spaces as needed.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum carpets as needed.
• Collect and dispose of trash and recycling from classrooms and common areas.
• Clean windows, walls, whiteboards, and furniture as assigned.
• Restock paper products, soap, and other custodial supplies throughout the building.
• Assist with school events by setting up/taking down tables, chairs, and equipment.
• Report any damage, needed repairs, or safety concerns to the Head Custodian or Maintenance Director.
• Perform general custodial work.
• Collaborate with other custodians and school staff to support a positive school climate.

• Must be dependable.
• Must be able to work well alone, and as part of a team.
• Must be self-motivated and able to work with little supervision.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior custodial or facilities maintenance experience is desirable.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds, bend, stoop, climb ladders, and perform physical labor.
• Reliable, responsible, and committed to maintaining a safe and clean environment for students and staff.
• Ability to pass a background check as required by Triton School Corporation.
